Here is raw video from Kim Jong-il’s funeral procession which was held today. Kim Jong-un can be seen leading the procession through the snow filled square on the appropriately grey and wintry looking day in Pyongyang.

Video is being released today out of North Korea by state run media that shows North Koreans “weeping hysterically” over the death of Kim Jong-il. Is this brainwashing in action or staged government propaganda? There is likely a little bit of both mixed into this video.

Gusts of Popular Feeling featured this short scene from Lee Jong-ho’s film “Heavenly Homecoming of Stars” earlier in the week. The scene gives us some insight into rebellious 1970′s Korean youth culture and life on the Peninsula after the war. Sit back, spark one up and enjoy.
